The Wheel of Life
The Wheel of Life has been designed to provide you with a holistic overview of all the different aspects of your life
Your results can then be used to set goals and develop a plan for you to achieve a more balanced and fulfilling life.
Just like a career, a wheel keeps moving. If a wheel is wonky, not fully circular, and imbalanced it will not function as well as it could.
The aim of this exercise is to raise your awareness of the current stage you are at within your career, and the various elements that a meaningful and rewarding career are built on.
Working towards a more confident version of yourself can feel like a daunting and scary thing, but by taking the time to figure out where you are, and where you want to get to, can help you to develop a sustainable plan.
As part of this plan, setting yourself stretch goals that move you towards your ultimate goal, but importantly, preventing you from entering the panic zone to help you build your confidence.
This log can be used to capture and document pieces of work / situations where you have done well at. This could be where you felt you have challenged yourself, positive feedback has been given to you, or there has been a positive outcome.
So often we tend to focus on when things went wrong, or thinking we could have done something better, but it is so important to remind yourself of all the great things you have done and the impact they have had.
